YOUR WORSHIP IS BUILDING A FORTRESS FOR YOU!
During a recent monthly gathering of prophetic people, I saw the following as we worshipped corporately.I saw the whole earth worshipping the Lord, all of creation. Every created thing that I saw was worshipping – the trees, the stars, all beings were declaring “Glory to God,” “You are worthy,” “You are Holy,” “Mighty is Your Name,” “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty,” and so forth. There were depths and heights, dimensions of worship I have never seen or heard before, many sounds but all blending into a crescendo of Glory to the throne of God. I knew in my spirit that angels were joining in, that it was heaven and earth together worshipping our King. As the worship continued, declaring God as the Almighty King of the Universe, I saw bricks being laid – one by one, row upon row becoming a wall, then a fortress. As our worship continued, a host of angels began to strategically position themselves at different places along and in the wall.At a certain point in worship, the sound began to intensity and there were sounds interspersed of warring shouts. As we were crying out, “You are Holy, Worthy, Almighty, King of Kings,” the angels picked up the words in the spirit and they became weapons in their hands. They hurled them into the darkness and as they exploded, I sensed that camps, or strongholds, of the enemy were being demolished.I heard the Lord say, “Your worship builds a strong fortress against the attacks of the enemy. When you look to Me in the midst of your circumstances and trials, when you choose to see Me and worship Me, this fortress is being built, brick upon brick. When you see darkness advancing, stay one with Me and continue to worship. I AM greater than anything you see in the natural, I AM the creator of the universe and all things are in MY hands. When you set your eyes upon Me and worship Me in the times when it seems darkness is closing in, I command my angels to go forth and do battle with the enemy on your behalf. Your worship of Me pinpoints the position for their sending. Your faith-filled declarations of who I AM, beyond what you are seeing in the natural, are the weapons that destroy the strongholds of the enemy.”Later, I looked up scriptures on bricks and it seemed that the references were most often used in judgment. I asked the Lord about that and He impressed upon me to look up the original language. The root of brick means purity. I heard in my spirit that the worship from a pure heart of love for the Lord and trust in His ways is the only way to have a strong fortress that will withstand the attacks against us.The final thing I heard the Lord say during the vision was, “As the darkness closes in, look to Me, keep your eyes upon Me, set your mind upon the truth of who I AM. Your worship has built a fortress and as you declare who I AM in the times of trouble, I will send forth my angels and they will use your words to tear down the enemy’s camps.”As I sought Him further today, I heard, “Do not fear, worship me only; I am near and I will hear what you speak forth into my ear. I am building a fortress that will protect and defend; nothing of harm will enter in. I AM sending my angels to battle for you; keep your heart pure and your worship true; nothing of harm can come to you. The angels are sent, positioned and ready. Keep your heart pure and your faith steady. Speak forth who I AM and I will command. The angels will go forth and take the land. Now is the time, the Kingdom is at hand. True worship sets in motion fulfillment of My plan.”“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.” (Ps. 103:19-21, KJV)
