2023 – ABUNDANT SUPPLY FOR THE BIRTHING OF MIRACLES
In late November and early December, I heard two phrases from the Holy Spirit regarding the new year. I clearly heard “a season of miracles” and the Holy Spirit prompted me to look at Gal. 3:5, “He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?”
According to Strong’s Concordance, the word ministereth in the Greek is epichoregeo and means abundant, lavish supply – the cost fully covered. I was shocked to see that the corresponding number in Strong’s is 2023. The Holy Spirit bore strong witness to me that 2023 will be a year where the Body of Christ will come into awareness of what that supply actually means, and that this is a year where there will be an orchestration of events requiring a supernatural move of God, an abundant supply of His Spirit.
We are in a time where the kingdoms are clashing, where the enemy’s plans are coalescing in power, but GOD is far above and much more powerful, and 2023 will be a year of seeing the miraculous to overthrow the powers of darkness.
The word epichoregeo is also the word used in Col. 2:19, "And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God," revealing supply bringing increase to Kingdom operation.
It is also used in 2 Cor. 9:10, "Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;" showing that there is a supply for our natural and spiritual needs.
A few days prior to hearing “a season of miracles” Holy Spirit spoke something to me that I believe will be necessary for the times ahead. I heard the phrase “panim el panim. This phrase means face to face in the Hebrew language, and was first spoken by Jacob in Genesis 32:30 after he wrestled with God (or, some believe, an angel): “… I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved."
From this encounter, Jacob received his new identity. The name Jacob means deceiver; he received the name Israel, which means God prevails. His old nature, and the strength of that identity, had to be broken. There will be times in the days to come where we will wrestle with God in our old identity and patterns of thinking that will clash with our God-given identity, and what He is calling us to do in His Kingdom expansion. All the fears, insecurities, religious mindsets and human reasoning and abilities, even how we perceive our identity through our strengths and weaknesses will have to go, to bring us to the place of being willing and obedient to the moving of the Holy Spirit.
Moses is another example of a person seeing God face to face, and God used him to show forth His miraculous power in the earth. There are two accounts in scripture regarding Moses seeing God’s face that appear to be incongruent. Exodus 33:11, “And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend…" and Exodus 33:20, “And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.”
Jacob and Moses saw God face to face and lived. As I meditated on this, I heard, “It’s how you perceive the word live.” This word is also used in Deut. 8:3, “…man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.”
I believe “…there shall no man see me, and live” doesn’t mean die physically, but that we cannot experience seeing God and expect to live in the same way that we have before. Our old ways of doing things – natural reasoning, planning, striving and control - will no longer work; our perceptions will change as we live from the Holy Spirit operating system. It is as it says in 2 Cor. 3:18, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." We are transformed by His glory – transformed into another identity, one that lives and breathes the life of God through intimate encounters with Him.
I heard the Lord saying, “Many will have encounters with Me, or My heavenly messengers, to bring a shift that will cause a rift, a quaking bringing shaking, for Kingdom undertakings. Be watchful and discerning, for you will see many things turning. Be still and listen, I will bring instruction for Kingdom construction. Let your heart be set to believe and obey, and you will see My miraculous power displayed.”
I know that many are going through a personal shaking right now, and pressing in to the Lord for wisdom. Holy Spirit is hovering over your depths. The deep longing within you is birthed from God in that place where you were in Christ Jesus before the world was formed (Eph. 1:4 and 2:10). Holy Spirit is hovering to bring you face to face with the Lord for intimate moments with Him and the birthing of the works that He has ordained for you to walk in. He took me into a vision where I was face to face with Him, but not as I thought face to face looked. We were embracing, cheek to cheek, in an incredibly intimate moment. He is calling us forth to move with Him, that we experience the truth Acts 17:28, “in Him we live and move and have our being” through a place of deep intimacy with Him.
I heard Him say, “Come close to Me and you will see who I have destined you to be; you will be set free in the likeness of Me. I am the One who brought you to be, come close and I will give you vision to see. Formed in My image, My likeness you’ll see; your eyes will be opened as you gaze upon Me.
I’m realigning to My designing, stirring to a hunger for deeper intimacy. I am breathing life upon dead dreams and calling those things that be not as though they are, for it is time to bring forth that which I have placed within you. To those seeds of destiny that have lain dormant, buried under disappointment and hope deferred, I say “live!” For they are for an appointed time and I say now come forth! Prepare the way within, for the time is set and you shall see that which I have spoken shall come to be.
I am bringing forth abundant supply for I am hearing a cry of desperation coming forth from all the nations. The cry of hearts longing for My presence, to be delivered from the evil trying to take residence. But I say, I am drawing and I am calling, My sons and daughters are rising, for by My Spirit I am energizing.
Watch and see, for My Spirit is moving, releasing supply that will never run dry; for I am the Source of both demand and supply. I bring the demand and I provide the supply. I stir the hunger and I meet every need, I create and supply the seed. I am bringing you forth into the new, that which from before time has been ordained for you. Do not despise or through your own reasoning apprise; all that you need will by My Spirit be supplied, to show forth My miraculous power that shall not be denied.”
