IT IS A TIME OF FAVOR; IT’S TIME TO ASK AND RECEIVE!
God is pouring out His favor. Believe and receive! We have not because we ask not! (James 4:2) He is a good King! He knows what you need before you ask (Matt. 6:8), but He loves when we ask!
There are so many verses on the favor of God for His children, too many to list, but here is one…”For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as [with] a shield.” (Psalm 5:12 NKJV).
Jesus has given us His righteousness in exchange for our sin! What a merciful and good God we have for that alone, yet He longs to pour out more favor and bless us beyond what we could ask or imagine! Believe!
It is a time of God’s people rising up in His favor, for His goodness to be seen and known. It’s time to make Him known!
In the last few weeks, I have seen amazing answers to prayers; even in the small things I am seeing God showing His favor – bills decreasing and fees removed.
One thing I am seeing over and over is that it is time to ask, but not just asking God. It is time for the Body of Christ to let go of our independent spirit and ask others for help when we need it. I have had two strong examples of this recently, where I spent way too many hours trying to figure something out on my own. Holy Spirit was prompting me to ask for help from someone I knew was an expert, but “I didn’t want to bother them!” What a lie of the devil, pride barely covered up. I reached out and he sent me a quick response with a very simple thing to do that took less than five minutes and the problem was solved!
Holy Spirit reminded me that when someone reaches out to me for help in an area that is my strength, I feel good helping them! In fact, right this very minute, Holy Spirit reminded me that I have been making efforts to reach out to people that have asked for my help, why would I not allow others to help me?
We are all members one of another. This is time of the Body coming together as one, every joint supplying. The favor of God, the blessing of God, is being poured out! Every place of lack, God wants His goodness to flow. Ask and receive!
