“DO NOT DESPISE THE DAY OF SMALL THINGS; BUILD MY HOUSE”

“DO NOT DESPISE THE DAY OF SMALL THINGS; BUILD MY HOUSE”

As I was seeking the Lord, I heard, “Do not despise the day of small things.” (Zech. 4:10) As I began reading from Zechariah Chapter 4, Holy Spirit began showing me the times we are in as God is raising up His priests and kings for the building of His Kingdom.

“For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.” (Zechariah 4:10 KJV)

I looked up the word plummet. According to Strong’s Concordance, it means to build, and the root word means to build, obtain children, repair, set up, surely.

I heard the Lord say to encourage His people and tell them every part is necessary. Some see the design and direct others in their functions, some are gatherers, some provide resources, some bring the cement that connect the parts that don’t fit together well, some are building new structures, some are restoring old ruins, some are repairing the breach between structures so that fullness of unity can come.

I heard, “Many are discouraged in these days of great opposition. Tell them – build My house. There is no small part, each is necessary for the whole to function as I have designed. You do not see the full establishment of My divine order as it will manifest in the days to come. Some are striving, building from their own thoughts and dreams. I say look to Me; things are not as it seems. For I will work a work in your day – wholly in My time and by My ways.”

Holy Spirit continued, “I am sending a wind that will bring provision, and I will quell every form of derision. For the enemy has sought to dismay and delay. Know that what would seem to take years, I can do in one day. Declare My grace to every mountain, and my anointing will flow as a perpetual fountain.”

“Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. … And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?” (Zechariah 4:7, 12 KJV)

“My eyes have seen and My spirit is moving, there has been and will be, a time of great proving. The press must be, for My oil will be pure. Gird up your loins, I give strength to endure.  For I am raising an army of priests and kings; do not despise the day of small things.”
