5784/2024 - THERE IS AN OPEN DOOR TO DISCERNING DESTINY
DESTINY IS IMPRINTED WITH OIL
A few months ago, I had a short but impactful dream. A few days later my husband had a dream that confirmed it. I have sought the Lord over these and believe they reveal a door open in this new year of 5784/2024.
In my dream, I saw written out and then heard as it was spoken, “Destiny is imprinted with oil.” There was an immediate shift and greater revelation in my understanding of the certainty that what God has determined beforehand for our lives cannot be revoked. I pray your spiritual ears be opened so that in faith you can receive the revelation also; the door to discerning destiny is open!
One of the symbols of the Holy Spirit is oil; the Spirit of the Lord brought to mind scriptures about being sealed with the Holy Spirit.
"Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." (2Co 1:22 KJV)
"In Him you also [trusted], after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory." (Eph 1:13-14 NKJV)
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." (Eph 4:30 KJV)
This puzzled me, as I had seen and heard the word “imprinted,” not “sealed.” I was shocked when I did some research. Imprinted means to be stamped or marked firmly (Merriam Websters dictionary). In Strong’s Concordance, “sealed” means to stamp (with a signet or private mark); it is the same as imprinted! The Hebrew Lexicon states it means “who belongs to God.” You are marked by God, sealed; your destiny is sure. The Lexicon also notes that to be marked by God confirms, authenticates, and attests as testimony to what has been spoken.
"…the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ." (1Co 1:6-8 KJV)
The word confirm in Strong’s concordance means to establish, make firm and sure. Trust God all the way through to the end!
When the King puts His seal on something, it cannot be revoked or changed. (Esther 8:8; Dan. 6:17) Do you hear this? Your God-ordained destiny cannot be revoked or changed! It shall come forth! You are sealed; it is imprinted in you with oil (the Holy Spirit). When you received Him, you were marked forever!
I thought about the years where I wasn’t walking in step with the Lord and questioned Him about that. What I heard is that just as your destiny is birthed and sealed in the Holy Spirit, it is found and walked out in Him. Though you may wander off the path from time to time, you are sealed and the Holy Spirit of God is continually working in your life to bring you to the fullness of redemption (Phil. 2:13). You were in Christ before the world was formed, (Eph. 1:4) and the works you were ordained to walk in were determined beforehand (Eph. 2:10). God knows the end from the beginning (Is. 46:9-10), and works all things after the counsel of His own will (Eph. 1:11).
"…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ;" (Phl 1:6 NKJV)
YEAR OF ZECHARIAH 4 - SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF OIL COMING FORTH
The Holy Spirit led me to Zechariah 4:14 and told me this is a Zechariah 4:14 year!
“Then said he, these are the two sons of oil (Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel the prince of Judah, the two anointed ones) who stand before the Lord of the whole earth (as His anointed instruments) (Zech 4:14, AMPC).
These two represent the Priestly and Kingly work of Christ. Kings and priests are anointed with oil to signify being set apart for God, to walk in His authority in the earth. According to Rev. 1:6 and 5:10, this is you! When you are sealed with the Holy Spirit (oil), you are declared His – wholly His and for His Holy purpose. The more we hear and believe, the more we can see and embrace our destiny. I saw by the Spirit that when we believe, fresh oil of the Holy Spirit is released and more of the true image of Christ and our likeness emerges to our eyes…what already exists in the Spirit becomes clearer.
YEAR OF QUICK COMPLETION
A few days later, my husband had a similar dream where he saw something written out, “EX….. 7.” After the EX there were faded letters that were blocked out. The EX was in the same colors and logo shape as the Postal Service Express Mail. He sensed in the dream the last letters were “press,” so the phrase hidden was “EXPRESS 7.”
The number seven means perfect and complete. God is doing a quick work in the earth (Rom. 9:28) to perfect His Bride, to bring her to completion. One of the definitions of express in Merriam Webster’s dictionary is to force out by pressure; to subject to pressure so as to extract something. Olives are pressed to produce oil. You are being pressed for the extraction of all that God has destined for your life to come forth. The Holy Spirit is moving mightily upon the sons and daughters of God to bring forth a pressing for the expressing - the express image of Christ in you!
Hebrews 1:3 describes Christ as the express image of God. The phrase, “the express image” is “character” in Strong’s concordance, and means: a graver (the tool or the person); engraving, the figure stamped, imprinted; an exact copy or representation.
Another definition of express in the dictionary is one that God revealed to me in a very detailed dream I had six years ago. (I encourage you to read the word, “It is the Time of Redress for Express,” on my website from July 20, 2017.) The definition of express I’m referring to is: “to cause (a gene) to manifest its effects in the phenotype; to manifest or produce (a character, molecule, or effect) by a genetic process.” Know this: You are a new creature; a new birth took place when you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of God, that imprinting of oil. That oil is working to bring forth what He has determined beforehand, through the process of God’s imprinting you with oil! It shall be as He has determined beforehand!
The phrase “EXPRESS 7” confirms the word I received – destiny is imprinted with oil. We are at the threshold of the fullness of times, and the Spirit and the Word are working together in His people to do a quick work. What you are feeling and experiencing in your trials are all a part of bringing about His determined end, and it is GOOD! You are being pressed for fresh oil to be better enabled to walk out your destiny!
YEAR OF REVELATION OF THE DOOR OF DESTINY
In Zechariah 3:9, the word engraver has the same root as the word door! Believe and your eyes will be opened to see and enter the door. The reality of the engraving, sealing, imprinting of oil being an open door is revelation into your destiny! I heard, “Look and see; I have set before you an open door through which your destiny is secure; now come forward into what has been ordained before!”
There is a fresh wind of revelation of the Father’s hand upon you. I see His hand laid upon your head and the Holy Spirit is pouring oil over you even right now! This oil is lighting your lamp and illuminating your innermost being with revelation from the throne of the Most High. Receive!
