I HEAR THE SOUND!

When I was in Kauai a few years ago, I left the room early in the morning to seek the Lord. I was desperate. We were nearing the end of our trip and I needed to hear Him. Whenever we go to Kauai, the Lord reveals something very significant to me, and I had not heard anything yet this trip. As I walked the grounds, I kept hearing, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Prov. 25:2, NKJV)

I went to search Him out. The wind had shifted and I felt a shift in the Spirit as well.  As I walked, He dropped a heart shaped seed in front of me, a love note.

When I returned to the room, I went to the lanai and sat, staring out at the mountains in the distance and thinking about God’s goodness to me, how amazing that He would draw me outside to show me how much He loves me.

“The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” (Jer. 31:3, KJV)

In the distance, I heard a turtledove calling its mate. I turned to Isaiah 55:3, “Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” I meditated on that, then read the whole chapter. He took me into realms of the spirit and speaking to speak me this poem as He showed these things to me.

I hear the sound of the turtle dove
Calling unto its mate.
The wind is blowing into my soul,
And I begin to anticipate
That the Lord, my God, is calling me
To turn aside with him and see
The heights of Glory on which He soars,
He has opened the everlasting doors.
The King of Glory has called my name;
Nothing can ever be the same.
He bids me, “Come, and be with Me,
I have depths I want you to see –
The realms of beauty beyond compare –
Come with Me, I will take you there.
Let me unfold the fathomless deep
The caverns, my treasuries they keep,
Storehouses full of glories divine;
I give to you from what is mine.”

Two turtledoves flew into the lanai and sat at my feet.

After a short time, one turned to the other, cooed, and they few off together.

I thought on this for a while, amazed at what had transpired, in awe of Him.

I went back into the room to share these incredible things with Kerry (my husband). A little later, I laid on the floor to stretch out my muscles; as I turned my head, I saw something under the dresser. I got a long-handled utensil to pull it out. It was a clothespin with “KING” written on it in marker.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Prov. 25:2, NKJV)

“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (Rev. 1:4-6, KJV)

You may be asking yourself, “Why is she sharing this on the About page?” I will tell you why. This is who I am, a child of God who sees and hears by the Spirit of God. The enemy sought to shut me down, in fact DID shut me down for years, through being told I was crazy. Now God has surrounded me with those who know, who hear and see as I do, who recognize the multi-faceted way that the Spirit of the Living God communicates to His children, and I will not hide any longer. I am desperate for more of His Presence and am willing to speak and write what He shows me! I hope and pray that some of you who are hidden will be filled with hope and begin to express what He is showing you. The world needs to see Him!
